Australia’s Olympic champions, runn진주출장마사지ing, sailing and rowing are all still on the run after an indefinite visa expired for them.
Athletic Minister Michaelia Cash had earlier said the athletes would stay in Australia until they could be eligible to play for the USA in Rio.
But on Thursday (local time), it emerged visas for Olympic champions Michael Phelps and Jack Conger were no longer valid and had been cancelled.
The rowers – who won bronze at last year’s Games in London – were supposed to have been eligible for a visa that would allow them to compete in the Olympics after the Rio games conclude next year.
This left them without a chance to return home and many were not able to return home for the Olympic team’s road trip to the United States.
The rowers had initially been set to be able to바카라 사이트 apply for a visa in October last year.
Ms Cash said the athletes were not entitled to a work permit until June 1 and a new visa had been granted to allow them to play for the United States.
“For a period of at least이천출장마사지 six months they have an immediate right to come and represent Australia.
“They’ll have the privilege to do so at the Olympic Games starting this October.”
But the rowers’ future without a visa has raised concerns over how the Games are going to run and whether Australia is doing enough to help them.
The athletes have said they are not leaving Australia to come to the USA to compete but they had hoped to have the privilege to travel to Rio with their own teams.
